Writing Contest Winners on administered a multi-generational, international writing contest each month from 2010 - 2016.  We've welcomed millions of visitors and tens of thousands of amazing writers, young and old, who contributed to the Stage of Life international story initiative.  You will find the links to winning essays of our monthly story and writing contests on this page, along with a link to our exclusive teen trend reports - a comprehensive summary containing the statistics and essays for each teen writing prompt.

Writing contests on StageofLife.comThe writers featured below submitted an outstanding essay for the monthly writing contest that was deemed "the best" by the Stage of Life Editorial team.  These essayists have the bragging rights to claim the title (and prize) that come along with being the best Stage of Life writer for the month.  A notable achievement considering these essays have been referenced by nationally acclaimed writers and featured in the press by, ABC TV, Wall Street Journal's MarketWatch, and others.

Unfortunately, as the popularity of the free writing contest grew, it became too much for the small Stage of Life to manage.  And as such, stopped running the contests after the May 2016 writing prompt.  For more details on why we had to stopped hosting the writing contests, you can read those here.
