Wrapping up 2010

With 2010 coming to an end, I'm feeling pretty intimidated. 2010 brought me my first apartment, living with my boyfriend, a five week trip to Spain, and a lot of other great memories. 2011 will bring my graduation from college, the “real world”, moving into a new apartment, and hopefully a great job, and maybe even getting engaged. I’m still considering grad school at West Chester, but feel that it is best to at least work for a year and make sure I really know what I want my Master’s in. It’s just all so overwhelming.

Last year, I made it a point to sit down and fill out the Stage of Life Goal sheet. Needless to say, my goals ended up getting pushed aside somewhere around March. This year, is super important, and I want it to go well. I lost a great friend, in March, who was only 20. After that experience, I have realized how important it is to make goals and follow through with them as well as live life to the fullest, no matter how cliché that may sound.

So tonight, I am taking the time to really think about 2011 and fill out my goal sheet. In 2011, I need de-stress (a little) and enjoy my last semester of college. I encourage everyone from every stage of life to have goals for 2011.

I think the Stage of Life goal sheet is a great idea! I also have a 'bucket list' of my larger life goals (I posted about it here) and this year I made New Year's Resolutions as well, so I plan on using these goal sheets as well! Happy New Year!

That is great to really sit down and think about your goals and how you want this new year to play out for you. It sounds like there are some big things going to happen this year for you and having a plan really helps me out. I'm sorry for your loss I know what your going through. I lost one of my best guy friends this past year also and it just completely sucks. I was debating whether or not to fill out the goal sheet or not, but after thinking about it more I might just give it a try. Good luck in the New year and I hope everything good goes your way!

I found making goals for 2011 fun, exciting and inspiring. It made me smile to think of all the things I'd like to see, do and accomplish this upcoming year.

It's important to remember to have fun, de-stress (a lot) and enjoy the moment you're in.

Happy 2011. :)
