My husband and I were ecstatic to learn that we were pregnant back in October. We told our parents right away (we're both very close with our parents, and our announcement was the perfect gift for both of our mothers, whose birthdays fell on the weekend we broke the news). Telling my parents that I lost the baby in early November was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I was like a zombie for the first couple days, but I went back to work and tried to carry on like everything was fine. Okay.....Since I have been totally exhausted since this morning, I have had my fingers crossed in hopes of a nice little nap this afternoon. Sometimes the twins will nap at the same time and sometimes not. However, I really felt like I needed some zzzzs. Thankfully, the girls are sleeping peacefully so here is my chance. However, as soon as my head hits the pillow, my thoughts begin to wander, to race, to turn flips and do acrobats inside my head. Well, I guess that means it is time to get out my humble little notebook lap top. I am sitting in my teenage daughter's plushy purple bucket chair once again. It is time to unload, time to share. Baby food drama

Does anyone have suggestions for baby feeding? My doctor is concerned about my daughter (10 months old today!) because she doesn't like mushy baby food. She will eat a few different kinds of finger foods (mostly cheerios and bananas) and we have experimented with all kinds of food with her (we started trying solid foods when she was about 5 months old). When given baby food she turns her head and she will gag if it gets in her mouth. Because she has was diagnosed with a milk protein allergy when she was just a few weeks old, I wasn't concerned about her lack of interest in baby food. I feel like she will need to breastfeed longer and that the solids that she does eat (and the fact that she likes feeding herself and will eat from a spoon every once in a while) are sufficient for now. ... Abortion? Adoption?

Keeping and raising the baby when you, yourself are so young in life? Either way, whatever decision you make will effect your life forever,right? It was just about three months ago that I learned that I'm pregnant. I'm turning seventeen next month and a few months ago that would've seemed like the coolest thing in the world. Getting my license and growing up,huh?

But now all I can think about is my due date in October and how I can possibly handle all of this.
