I've recently been put in charge of the websites Pinterest account. I've never used Pinterest but all my friends do. I've been playing with the account for about two weeks now and I love it! I'm always on it, completely addicted. It's terrible I know. I still don't know everything about it but I'm slowly getting there.

This is a totally new learning experience. Social media has become a big part of life now since the start of the new millennium. Did you know that we have found out more information about space and geology in our lifetime than ever before? Meaning the 90's generation kids. In just about 20 years we've gone from huge cellphones, Walkmans, A-Tracks, vinyl and floppy disks to small iPods, smartphones, iPhones, mp3's, DVD/Blu-Ray and touch screen computers! We can do anything! But there is always a set back to this. If we rely on technology as we do today, if technology was to crash an collapse the human race would have no idea how to survive. OMG how do we contact people without texting? How do we do our homework and social media without the internet? How do we find where we're going without a GPS? How can we do math without a calculator? That's the only problem with the advancements we've seen in the last 50 years. We no longer rely on our brains and skills we rely on technology to do everything for us.
