I guarantee you've seen plenty of old men. If not, you should at some point. From substitute teachers to bus drivers to judges, these men dedicate much of their time. The majority of them are retired anyway. So, when I see people being rude or disrespectful towards them, it makes me want to rip my hair out. You have a complaint about their perfectly fine driving? Walk to school. You think they're too friendly? Grow a nice bone in your body, or something. I mean, c'mon people! Is it really so difficult to appreciate these older gentlemen that serve you or have served you? But what I love most about them is their insightful wit towards my troubled peers. They smile, tell some smart jokes, and ignore them. I think we could all learn a lesson from these men, and from the teens that insult them. All I ask is that you grow up and realize all the services you are lucky to have that are provided to you by people that could be sitting at home.
