“I love you,” those three words that make a huge difference in the lives of everyone. Love is complicated, love is stupid, love is wrong, love doesn’t exist, and so on. But really what exactly is love? Love to me is the that emotion, that pulls you to that person, it’s that wonderful bond that makes your relationship so much stronger. We are all victims of love, but love doesn’t necessarily only apply to couples, no nonsense it applies to all situations. Whether love between your parents, love between your friends, or yes love between that special person that makes your blood pump faster and tingle your stomach whenever you see them, but love is everywhere, although sometimes we wish we wouldn’t hurt from it.
There are so memories that I can remember when love has always been present in my life, and it makes me cherish love so much more. Yes, I do have to say love can be the most amazing thing in the world, but love can also harm you in a way that makes it so difficult to continue with life, but that was because we weren’t careful. Love is like a butterfly you squeeze too hard, and it’ll break, hold it too loosely, and it’ll fly away. I’ve never gave much thought to how I saw love, no not until one person who changed it all. It was like eating TCBY ice cream for the first time, it was something so sweet and I knew it was meant for me. It was unrealistic but so amazing at the same time and I felt like life took me to the next level of love.
As a teen we get a lot of reputations and part of it is love. Some teens fall in love with the idea of love, they attach themselves to it, and they give their hearts away to the first person who talks nice to them. Is it real love? Hmm well who knows only they would. It’s sort of like Romeo and Juliet, was it real love? And my answer is no, because they die at the end. They die! Love shouldn’t tear two people away, no it should bring them closer and with that couple they lost it. They were too vulnerable and their love shattered, yes they died for one another but I don’t think that is a symbol of love. It’s more of symbol of liberty or honor, they fought for something, but at the end they lost it. Love, is the essential ingredient to life, it’s what makes people happy, makes people cry, it makes a stronger person, but love always surrounds itself in our lives.
Being only 16, I have fallen in love with the most amazing person. What is so ironic about it though was at first I never wanted it, I tried many times to push it away but that person fought for it, and slowly they won. Love should open your heart and bring you closer, bring happiness to you. When I see them I feel tingles in me and my pulse races and blush, but every time I do see them I grin and think that I am so lucky to have found someone so unique as they are. Love is just endless and it will always be involved in our lives.
