I am loving me, because I am somebody. Love is not a box of chocolate, a bouquet of flowers or a diamond ring. Love is loving yourself. As a 15 year old teenager, I have received love from my parents which has made me stable in my feeling towards myself. Loving me means, I able to resist the temptations of drugs, alcohol and most of all teenage sex. As a matter of fact, living in the 21st century, teenagers are exposed to lifestyles that most want to emulate. However, being loved in a positive way has deterred me from making those mistakes. Learning how to love me and how to say no to what mainstream media has to offer, will allow me to pursue a more fulfilling relationship when the time is right. I do not want to be labeled as the girl who is willing to do drugs, alcohol and sex, just be popular. So, my definition of love, is loving me and I will always promote this attitude to everyone, especially my younger peers.
