Many people think that love isn't worth all the pain and suffering because they're afraid to take chances and get hurt. Love is all about taking chances and risks, no matter what it takes. I believe that everybody has that one person they belong to, some might find that person at a young age like I did, and some might not find their one true love until they get much older. Whether you're gay, straight, transgendered, black, white, tall, small, it doesnt matter; you can love and be loved just as everybody else does.
I fell in love for the first time a year ago. I knew I was in love the minute I met her for the first time. At first, it was just cute, giggly, soft feelings, but the more we saw eachother and got to know one another, it grew into deep passion and love. We didn't jump into our relationship; we took it slow and when we really felt ready we did have sex. I knew it was right, unlike many people who have sex with people they don't know, or don't have feelings for. When you find you're in love, it isn't just sex that you want; you want that person in every way possible. Eventually sex does come with love, but it all depends on the person.
Before I met the girl of my dreams, I was lost and alone, but when I met her i changed. I was happy all the time, and I knew that I had found my better half. But we had to fight to just be together, because we were both girls. Society looked down on us because we weren't role models. Who says we weren't? Plenty of teens out there are in our position. Love conquers all. So you have to fight for the one you love, no matter what.
Don't be afraid to fall in love, because it's the most beautiful thing you could ever imagine. I'm just one of many who has found their one true love, so don't let anybody tell you who you can and can't love. You have the right to love whoever you want. Takes chances, and live, because life is short, and every chance you take could change your life completely.
