Marriage: An Act of Promise

My attitude towards marriage is a common one. Marrying a person means you truly love them and would do anything for them. However, it also means you have to both trust and promise. You must trust your loved one and have faith that they are not lying to you on a regular basis. You have to keep your side of the deal, too. That means keeping your promise of never hurting them and being faithful to them. Basically, I believe that marriage is not a walk through the park for anybody. It all relies on the promises you make at the alter. If you keep those promises, your marriage will be a blissful one. You will be at the nursing home racing each other in wheelchairs in no time.

What does it mean to "truly love" someone?

Ha ha! Love the "racing in wheelchairs" part. ;)
