“Love doesn’t give up just because something goes wrong or because your feelings are hurt. God is in charge, so those who love just keep on loving”
What is love? Love can be a happy or hurtful concept. Love is often used free flowingly, and it has the power to inspire. Love is always kind and patient, and never jealous or rude. This four-letter word can do a lot of damage and can leave a lifetime of scars. The brain becomes weak, and the heart goes crazy all because you think you’re in love. With lips puckered, jetty eyes and hands, and heart racing, you feel the change and think you’ve fallen in love with the person of your dreams. Are you ready for the emotional roller coaster?
Feeling like you have nothing to lose, and always doing your best only to be told that your best isn’t good enough all because of that thing called love. This is when you witness the evil side of the greatest thing known to man, love. All the sad love songs are a conformation that love stinks. Who would have knew that what started off with smiles and kisses would have and ending too great to explain. “Falling in love is awfully simple, but falling out of love is simply awful.” Love is very powerful and you don’t realize this until it’s to late, and until your heart is in a million pieces. When you’re the only person who is there to comfort yourself, you’re depressed and crying, here is the heartbreak.
If you’re with someone because they are handsome or beautiful you might think you’re in love, but in reality you are in lust. Ultimately they are goal is to get something from them and they will do anything to achieve that goal. “Love is the self-delusion we manufacture to justify the trouble we take to have sex” Dan Greenburg. People say they are “in love”, because people would more than likely “look down” on them if they were having sex without being in love. They use love as an excuse to have sex.
People sometimes denied love because they are hurting. Love can be lost and unrecognized, therefore some of us will never know what it feels like to be truly love by someone other than a family member. Being forced to love someone is never good and loving someone and being open on purpose is always hurtful.
So what is love? Whether happy or sad, good or bad, love is always in our face. It’s never patient or kind and always rude or jealous. Love is what makes the heart hurt and the brain to shut down, in love and always out of whack is never a great thing. Having the will power to wait is never what love is about. If you try to twist someone into your own image of what you think they should be, that’s not love. When you say you don’t love me the way I want to be loved doesn’t mean that they don’t love you with all they have. What is love? Love, love is wildly misunderstood yet highly desirable.
“I don’t know why they call it heartbreak. It feels like every part of my body is broken too.”
