My husband bought me an incredibly thoughtful "push" present two months prior to the due date of our daughter. It was a personalized pendant necklace that had the first initial of our daughter's name.
I wore it everyday...until the baby came.
It turned out that during breastfeeding, my little girl loved to reach out and PULL on this gorgeous necklace. I had to take it off for about a year, but I recently started wearing it again.
I'm glad I did. Everyday now, seeing that necklace is a subtle thank-you to my husband for being a good man, but a bigger part is that it's a small, beautiful reminder about how amazing the journey of motherhood has been so far.
I highly encourage you Dads out there to explore push presents. They don't have to be expensive. In fact, here's a link to an article I found on ICE.com's blog that gives five
push present ideas.
Make a difference with that new mom...surprise her with a push present!
