Teacher Appreciation: The One That Changed My Life
The teacher/coach that really changed my life is my dad, John Leppla. He has always been there for not only as my dad but as my coach to. I have watched him help not only me but others on the not only in the classroom and on the field, but in everyday life. He has taught me so many life lessons and still is and that is why I want to follow in his footsteps as well and become a teacher/coach so I can also make an impact on others lives.
My dad not only helps people become a better person, student, and athlete but helps them achieve things in life. He helps kids become who they are today. Kids look up to him just like myself. He really showed me how he can make a difference in the classroom and on the field with kids everyday and that is what I want to do with my life too.
You see different types of kids’ everyday and some don’t have a good home life and to see him help them out and keep them active in school makes things that much better for them. I want to be a better person and help someone out in need just like him. I want to help kids achieve goals just like him. He is my role model.
My dad doesn’t get paid much, like all teachers, but it just shows how much they care about the kids for sticking with it and putting all of their effort in their work. They not only teach everyday but learn from others as well and I want to be just like him. My dad is my hero and now I want to be a teacher/coach just like him and make a difference in the world.
