The reason why teen pregnancy has gone down is because of all the new thing that is available today. It has gone down because of the sex prep classes that student are taking in their school. Also of the free birth control pills that the get in the clinic. The biggest information is the T.V. that is why there is a decline of teen pregnancy.
In high school there are sex ED classes. More and more students are learning to have protective sex if they decide to have sex. In those classes they teach the boys to were a condom. That prevents pregnancy and it also prevents some STD. The classes of the school bring guest speakers to talk about sex and show how has protective sex. That is one of the reasons why it has gone down.
The other reason is because of the free birth control pills that girls get for free in the clinic. They know that some teen is having sex in a young age that is why they give it to them. Those pills help teen age girls that are active stay safe from getting pregnant in a young age. People say that a baby is fun but in my option they are not fun when you still depend of your family. After you move out then you could do anything you wont but you still have to follow the law.
In T.V theirs many programs that people could relate to. Fork example 16 teen and pregnant. That is a show that a 16 year old girls has a child in the way and her boyfriend is still in school. Then they have to decide if they stay in school or they will drop out and gat a job. It is rough to have a baby in a young age because the baby will make you grow up faster and make your parents into grandparents and I know that they don’t wont that.
Those are my reason why teen pregnancy has decline. Of the birth control pills, T.V and sex prep classes. If we didn’t have that then we would been looking at this in a bigger scale.
